Attended San Jose State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Performance, 1977 GRI designation (Graduate Realtors Institute), and post graduate courses toward a Master Degree from the University of Phoenix. Rick has earned his RMP designation from NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) and was the Santa Clara Valley Chapter President in 1996. He currently sits on the Board of Directors. In 2002 Rick received the prestigious CCRM designation (California Certified Resident Manager), from the California Apartment Association.
Rick retired from the company in September 2024.
In 2005, Rick was awarded the rare CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation, the residential real estate industry's most advanced degree held by only 4% of all Realtors in the United States. With a family history in real estate for over 100 years, Rick's management skills and knowledge have earned him a reputation in many aspects of real estate counseling. Rick has been an active member of the Los Gatos Rotary Club since 1984. He also coached college baseball locally for over 20 years, with many of his players going on to play in Major League Baseball.
Graduated from San Jose University in 1973 and established Matusich & Raich with Rick in 1979. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a former Partner of Ruzzo, Scholl & Murphy Accountancy Corporation. Bill's specialization in Real Estate Tax Planning and ex-patriot regulations provides M&R clients with the most updated tax information for rental properties. Real estate trusts, private placement and tenant in common purchases also can be discussed and reviewed.
